With the exception of Penn & Tylers Green v Farnborough, the only games that survived the weather at the weekend were played on artificial surfaces. In the Premier League Wycombe got back to winning ways and their conquerors from last weekend, Reading, also won, beating Beaconsfield 4-1 (Making It Count). In the North just the Penn game survived where the hosts were held to a draw by Farnborough. Guernsey got their game on in the south, but were beaten again, this time by Bournemouth Sports Reserves. There were also Chairman's Cup wins for Havant & Waterlooville and Oxford City.

Results - Sunday 25 January 2026

Picture
Reading 4-1 Beaconsfield Town
A very cagey first half, with few goalscoring opportunities, saw Mia Parker edge the home side in front. Bethan Poole doubled the lead after 66 minutes before substitute Nat Cowell pounced to make it 3-0. Molly Carter poached a goal back after Henna Hussain hit the bar, but an added time Tia Johnson goal was the final nail in the Rams' coffin. Read the BotP match blog here (Making It Count).

Wycombe Wanderers 4-1 Fleet Town
Wycombe got back to winning ways with a resounding victory over Fleet Town. Chloe Melton started proceedings in the 15th minute before a 39th minute Kayla Potter header sent the Chairgirls into the break two up. Fleet hit back just after the restart only for Jessica Watkins to quickly restore the two goal buffer. Watkins then added her second just past the hour to seal the points. Watch all the goals on the Wycombe X feed.

Penn & Tylers Green 1-1 Farnborough
Farnborough continued their good league form and are now unbeaten since the home reversal to Abingdon in October. Eliza Andrews had the visitors ahead at the break with her fourth goal in the last three games. Shannon Read levelled the scored seven minutes after half-time.

Guernsey 2-3 Bournemouth Sports Reserves

Guernsey's dismal run continued with defeat to Bournemouth making it no wins in the past seven games. Sofia Rodrigues and Florence Marsh sent Bournemouth into the break two goals to the good. However Ruby Smith put the Green Lionesses back in contention before the teams traded further goals, from Heidi Dawber and a second for Florence Marsh, giving the visitors a 3-2 victory.

Havant & Waterlooville 5-1 Ascot United Reserves
The Hawks cruised through to the next round courtesy of two goals from Jodie Burchell and one each from Isobel Humphrey, Emma-Jane May and Lottie Spottiswood. Kezia Nzeribe grabbed the Ascot consolation on the hour mark.

Kidlington Youth P-P Sholing

Wimborne Town 2-3 Oxford City
Premier League city went into half-time two goals to the good thanks to strikes from Ellie White and Yasmin Edwards. However, Ellie Chaffe, on the hour,  and Lucy Roberts fourteen minutes later, pulled the Magpies level, only for Ellie White to strike again two minutes later, sending the Hoops through.

Fixtures - Sunday 1 February 2026

Picture
Beaconsfield Town v Winchester City Flyers
Third versus second. Flyers have two games in hand on Wycombe, but are seven points adrift. Beaconsfield are level on points with Winchester but have played four more games than Sunday's visitors. When the teams met at Hilliers Way in October, Winchester ran out 2-0 winners thanks to Chelsie Hay and an Annie Northwood goal ten minutes into added time.
Holloways Park, HP9 2SE

Oxford City v Reading
Both sides won last weekend, but Oxford have lost the last two in the league, whereas Reading have won their last two. This is their first meeting this season, but Reading will be well aware and very keen to redress last season's two heavy defeats against City, in which they conceded 15 and failed to score themselves.

Sholing v Wycombe Wanderers
After getting back to winning ways at home on Sunday, Wycombe will be looking to ensure they don't drop points on the travels for the second consecutive game. Sholing's form has been up and down so far. They'll be looking to avenge the 4-1 defeat they suffered in the reverse fixture. They'll especially want to start netter, having been two behind inside 7 minutes at the 18i78 Stadium.

Farnborough v Denham United
This will be the first meeting of these two after the reverse fixture was postponed a couple of weeks back. Denham are still defending a 100% league record, having scored sixteen times in their three road trips so far. Farnborough, however, have found some form of late. They are unbeaten in any competition since October, barring a narrow 2-1 League Cup reversal to Premier League Winchester City Flyers.

Larkspur Rovers v Penn & Tylers Green
Rover sit in second, two places and two points above Sunday's visitors. However, Penn do have a game in hand. Rovers have won five of their six home league games. Penn have only dropped three points on their travels, winning three and losing one. This will be their first meeting this season.
Lord Halsbury Memorial Playing Fields, UB5 5FE

Slough Town v Kidlington Youth
Kidlington go into this game still looking for their first win of the league season. They currently sit bottom of the pile with just a single point. However, that point came against Slough in the reverse fixture, a high-scoring affair that ended 4-4. Slough will be looking to get back to winning ways having lost one and drawn one of their last two.

Bemerton Heath Harlequins v AFC Stoneham
Third takes on fourth, with just a point separating the teams. Stoneham, however, have three games in hand on Harlequins. Whilst this is their first league meeting this term, they have already faced each other in the FA Cup at Stoneham Lane. The Purps took that one 3-1 with two goals from Lucy Bicknell and one from Chloe Marshall.

Wimborne Town v Havant & Waterlooville
The Magpies were edged out of the Chairman's Cup by Premier League Oxford City last weekend. Meanwhile, the Hawks were progressing in the same competition wit a 5-1 defeat of Ascot United Reserves. They've yet to face each other in the league this season. A win for Havant would see them close to within a point of their second-placed hosts, with two games in hand.

Abingdon United Development v Fleet Town
An interesting match-up between Abingdon, currently third in Division One North, taking on Fleet who are just below halfway in the Premier league. Fleet put out Division One South high-flyers, Wimborne, in the last round but needed penalties to see them off. United put out league-mates Tilehurst Panthers 2-0 at The Northcourt. The winners will take on Winchester City Flyers in the quarter-final.

Southampton Women v AFC Portchester
A delayed third round tie, with a trip to Farnham Town for the victors. They've already met at Southampton in the league. Spoils were shared that day thanks to a late Becky Bath equaliser for Portchy. The winners of this tie face a quarter-final trip to Farnham Town.

Bursledon v Shaftesbury
Having already seen both of the league encounters postponed (one for this cup game), these two league-mates are yet to face each other this season. Bursledon have won two of their last three league games, but did suffer a big defeat to AFC Portchester in the count cup last time out. Shaftesbury's recent form has been a marked improvement on their early season results, having recently won in the league for the first time and progressed in the county cup.
Woodlands Community College, SO18 5FW

Woodley United v Chesham United Development
Chesham have won four of their last five in the league, having only won two of the previous nine. They'll be keen to pit their wits against a Premier League side who have struggled this season. Woodley, however, have brought in a few players recently in a bid to stave off relegation. Having already gone out of the League Cup to lower-ranked opposition, they'll be looking to avoid another banana skin.
