The Southern Region Women's Football League announced the league allocations for the forthcoming season. We say goodbye and good luck to Ascot United, who move up to the National league system, and Caversham United, who took a voluntary drop back into the Thames Valley League. Best wishes to both teams.
Beaconsfield Town and Fleet Town take their places at the top table. They are joined by Southampton Women, dropped down from the National League. Division One North has four new faces. Denham United join from London & South East Division One North. Farnborough, who won the Hampshire League also come in as do Thames Valley Champions Larkspur Rovers and runners-up Oxford City Development. The South has five teams coming on board. Wiltshire League Champions Bemerton Heath Harlequins and Dorset League winners Shaftesbury come in. South East Counties Surrey Premier Champions Farnham Town make their debut alongside Hampshire League runners-up Andover New Street and a relatively unknown quantity in the shape of Guernsey.
